Kids Dance Lessons in Brooklyn
Nieves Latin Dance Studio 1st Annual Summer Dance Camp 2013 is an intensive 2 weeks, 4 days a week dance camp. You will have the opportunity to enroll your child into one or both of our dance camps we will be offering this summer. Our dance camp gives your child the opportunity in dance education, intensive dance training, body movement, and remarkable chance to learn several dance styles and their culture.
Our first summer dance camp will begin July 15, 2013 and ends July 25, 2013. The 2nd dance camp will begin August 5, 2013 and ends August 15, 2013. Classes run Monday- Thursday; children would have weekends (Friday-Sunday) off. Our camp accepts children ages 3 to mid-teens. Your child would be divided into his/hers age group.
Age groups 3-7 are required a $200 Tuition Fee. That includes 3 different styles of dances (Ballet, Jazz, and Hip-Hop), one warm-up class (Flexibility- stretching- and body movement), and a school T-shirt. Your child would be attending 2 hours a day 10.a.m. - 12p.m. . First hour of every day will start with the warm-up class. This would give your child the chance to get their blood flowing, heart racing, and their bodies warmed up and ready for the 2nd class of the day. The 2nd hour in their schedule would be the class of the day, whether Ballet, Jazz or Hip-Hop. Our goal for your child is to gradually train them in all three styles, educate them in each styles background but most of all to have fun as they learn the art of dance.
Age Groups 8- & Up are required a $325 Tuition Fee. That includes 8 different styles of dances (Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Salsa, Broadway, Bollywood, Modern/Contemporary, and Cheer/Spirit), One warm-up class (Flexibility- Stretching- body movement- and turning), and a school T-shirt. Your child would be attending 4 hours a day 1p.m. - 5p.m. They'll begin every day with their warm-up class, where your child would learn how to turn, stretch, and move their body. This would help their flexibility and technic for the next 3 up in coming classes. The next three hours of the day would contain the 3 different dance styles of the day. Our goal for your child is to start building technic, learning different dance background, style and discipline that come with each dance but most of all show them how to have fun as they learn.
